Are you detail-oriented and passionate about customer service? We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our team! This role is essential in supporting both internal teams and contractors with payroll-related queries and ensuring a smooth payroll process. If you have a background in payroll or customer service and enjoy problem-solving, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing 💼💻:

• Process new hire/rehire in ADP
• Coordinate with benefits team to process termination in ADP
• Coordinate with the onboarding team for all new hire/rehire employees
• Process multi-state payroll related to onboarding (such live and worked in, local county)
• Be able to correctly process/enter federal, state, and local laws pertaining to onboarding
• Able to understand W4 and W9 forms to correctly enter in ADP
• Process wage garnishments and child support in ADP
• Respond to all Verification of employment requests via mail, online and phone
• Address payroll onboarding-related queries and requests from employees and other departments in a timely manner.
• Maintain payroll onboarding and processed payroll documents
• Process payroll (limited to Union payroll only – 2 employees)
• Gather and distribute mail to payroll, benefits and tax team
• Additional duties as required.

What We’re Looking For 🔍👀:

• Minimum 2 – 3 years of payroll experience.
• Knowledge between W2 and 1099 employee
• Knowledge in multi-state payroll related to onboarding
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now (preferred)
• Experience in Oil and Gas (preferred)
