Patent Billing Coordinator

70,000 - 85,000

We are currently seeking a Patent Billing Coordinator to join our team at a leading law firm. In this role, you will work closely with attorneys and accounting colleagues to accurately manage and execute billing for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Draft, edit, and prepare pre-bills and final bills per attorney/client specifications
Verify accuracy of billing and supporting documentation
Ensure proper rates and fee arrangements are reflected for each matter
Manage e-billing requirements for clients
Prepare and process write-downs and write-offs
Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues
Monitor WIP and A/R inventory for assigned attorneys
Generate billing statements and production reports
Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year experience in legal billing
Experience with Intellectual Property billing preferred
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent time management and communication abilities
