Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Patrolling the grounds at night to check for signs of suspicious activity such as broken windows or doors, graffiti, or litter
• Performing routine security checks on key areas such as entrances and exits to the facility to ensure they are secure
• Observing employees to ensure they are following security protocols such as locking doors at closing time or reporting suspicious activity to security personnel
• Security checks throughout the community in consistent intervals throughout the shift
• Responding to emergency situations such as fires, medical emergencies, or violent behavior
• Contacting proper authorities and responding to requests for assistance from staff and community members
• Communication with facilities on-call for any property related emergencies if necessary
• Monitoring security cameras and recording systems for any abnormalities or suspicious activity
• Monitor and enforce RCD community Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCR's)
• Reporting incidents of theft, vandalism, or other unusual activity to supervisors. Reporting also includes notifying authorities of any criminal activity.
