Receive up to a $500 bonus! What you get to do: Respond to medical emergencies for guests and team members in a timely manner at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and or Water Country USA. Follow established VA OEMS protocols for ALS patient care.
- Interacting with guests and team members in a fun, exciting, flexible Part Time job.
- Performing EMT Intermediate/Paramedic skills per state protocols
- Assisting Registered Nurse and other staff with patient care as directed
- Answering guest and team member questions via telephone or in person
- Maintain department vehicles in accordance with company and state OEMS standards
What it takes to succeed: - High School diploma or GED
- Certified as an EMT-Intermediate or EMT-Paramedic in Virginia
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- At least 12 months pre-hospital/ER work required
- Hold current American Heart Association for Healthcare Provider CPR certification or equivalent/ACLS preferred
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Must be a RELEASED Paramedic/Intermediate EMT by Virginia State OMD, in order to work independently as an ALS provider.
Compensation: $19.00 an hour. Position eligible to receive up to $500 bonus
