Education Outreach Specialist – Chelan County PUD
Chelan County PUD is seeking an experienced and dynamic Education Outreach Specialist to join our team! This position will create and facilitate hands-on educational programs for K-12 students, lead tours, and deliver presentations on hydropower and energy. The ideal candidate will have experience in lesson planning, curriculum development, and presenting to diverse age groups, along with a passion for community outreach and education. The role is based at the Rocky Reach Discovery Center.
Key responsibilities include designing STEAM-based programs, collaborating with educators, and planning large-scale events. The position also requires a strong understanding of hydroelectric power and the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,160 - $87,700, plus comprehensive benefits, including zero-cost healthcare, retirement plans, paid leave, and more.
