Possible to extend Responsibilities Handled large database estates and managed TB size of databases Installation and administration of multiple versions of databases on multiple Unix platforms and Windows servers Design and implement the high availability solutions (RAC, Golden Gate and Dataguard) Install, configure and manage ASM instances in oracle Plan and execute major migrations and upgrades Define and configure the disk and diskgroups in ASM and troubleshoot Plan and implement the backup/recovery on need basis Hardware tech refresh (host to host database move) Coordinate and work with database vendors for resolution on major incidents Database refresh, re-org, backup using RMAN and 3rd party tools Install and configure grid control database monitoring tools Install, Administer, manage and troubleshoot Oracle grid control Define performance benchmarks and metrics Write and troubleshoot shell scripting, SQL and PL/SQL scripts Primarily role is supporting the production and non-prod database environments selection Implement and Periodical check on Automation Implement and Periodical check on DB Security Identify, document and track Technology related risks and mitigation plan in the project Technical and Process guidance to L2 and L1 DBA Skills Must have Exp range: 7 - 10 years. Excellent knowledge in Oracle databases (12c, 19c, 23ai) Excellent knowledge required in cloud concepts related to OCI and Azure Excellent knowledge in provisioning and Managing Oracle databases in On Prem, OCI and Azure. Excellent knowledge in Real Application Cluster (RAC) & OEM Excellent knowledge in performance tuning and optimization Excellent knowledge in Database migrations between different OS platforms from 12c to 19c and upgrades from 11g/12c to 19c Good knowledge of automation (Ansible, Jenkins, Python) Experience in Multitenant (Container/Pluggable databases) is a must for this role Experience in configuring Oracle data guard and assist in DB Switchovers/Failovers. Strong experience in database backup and recovery. Strong experience in automation , configuration/deployment management tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Groovy. Proficient with Python or other relevant scripting languages. Familiarity with agile tools (Jira) & version control concepts (GitHub) Strong people and leadership management skills with proven ability to lead, motivate, inspire, develop, and encourage people. Nice to have Insurance domain exp.
