About the Math Program:
Content: Teach courses based on the Singapore Math concepts to students primarily based in the USA.
Class Type: Offer one-on-one trial classes (25 minutes) and small group regular classes (55 or 90 minutes) with up to 6 students per class.
Platform: Utilize our interactive online classroom.
Student Level: Focus on primary grades 2-6.
Class Schedule:
One-on-One Trial Classes: Flexible scheduling for prospective students to try out our service.
Small Group Regular Classes: Fixed schedule classes with enrolled students, once or twice a week, lasting 18 weeks per semester.
Peak Teaching Times: Maximize your income during peak hours (4 am-12 pm and 5 pm-11 pm EST, especially on weekends).
Payment:
One-on-One Trial (25 min): Earn up to $15 per half-hour ($12 fixed rate + $3 enrolled student incentive).
Small Group Regular (55 min or 90 min): Starting at $28/hr with potential to earn more with incentives (55 min: $24 fixed rate + $4 fixed class incentive + $0.5 homework incentive per student; 90 min: $36 fixed rate + $6 fixed class incentive + $1 homework incentive per student).
Assessment Incentive: Earn $2 per student, per assessment (four assessments per semester).
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or Technology.
Experience: At least three years of experience teaching Math.
Language: Fluent English speakers who are legally allowed to work in the US, Canada, the UK, or Australia.
Note: We are currently unable to partner with teachers from California, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Illinois starting from April 1st, 2022. We appreciate your understanding!
