Offset Press Operator (3rd Shift)

We are seeking an experienced Offset Press Operator for a full-time position on third shift. This role involves operating a high-quality press to produce visually appealing and precise prints on various materials. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the print industry and a strong mechanical aptitude.

Primary Duties:

• Read and understand job jackets
• Change press size using cassette system
• Perform web press make-ready functions at standard allowed times
• Oversee mounting of printing plates on plate cylinders
• Oversee mounting of blankets on blanket and coating cylinders
• Obtain die cut shapes as per customer approved proofs
• Run live production at standard press speeds
• Assure that all procedures are followed (roll tags, pull samples, sign offs, time sheets, stock reporting, maintenance reporting, etc.)
• Assist with scheduling for efficiencies, where appropriate

Shift: Training will take place Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Upon meeting the training requirements, you will transition to Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of printing experience
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, reach, stand, inspect, and listen
• Strong mechanical aptitude
