We are seeking a highly organized and service-oriented Office & HR Coordinator to support both daily office operations and junior-level HR functions in our Tysons, VA location. This in-person role is ideal for someone looking to start or grow their career in HR while gaining hands-on experience in people operations and office management. Youll help ensure a welcoming, well-run office and a smooth employee experience for new hires and current employees alike. Key Responsibilities Office Administration: Ensure the Tysons office remains clean, organized, and welcoming Restock snacks, beverages, and supplies in the kitchen and common areas Handle incoming mail and packages, and manage outgoing shipments Act as the first point of contact for visitors, deliveries, and office-related questions Liaise with vendors for services like cleaning, maintenance, and supplies Support occasional onsite events, team meetings, or celebrations Support executive team visits by preparing meeting spaces, coordinating logistics, arranging catering, and ensuring a polished, professional environment Scheduling & Calendar Support Partner with recruiters to schedule interviews and candidate conversations across time zones Help schedule cross-functional meetings and internal events Support senior leaders by managing or helping maintain their calendars, prioritizing time and handling conflicts Proactively identify opportunities to improve scheduling workflows or reduce friction HR & Administrative Support Support the People Team with administrative tasks such as document collection, onboarding checklists, and tracking key milestones Help maintain employee records and assist with light data entry or process updates Jump in where needed to support internal programs and initiatives Key Skills And Experience 12 years of office or administrative experience; internship or entry-level HR experience a plus Interest in building a career in HR or office operations Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with HR systems is a bonus This position will require the successful candidate to work a minimum of five days per week in the office. Access to US export-controlled software and/or technology may be required for this role. If needed, Spire will arrange the necessary licensesthis is not something candidates need to have before applying. The anticipated base pay range for this hourly position is $21.63 to $34.62 per hour, which equates to approximately $45,000 to $72,000 annually, based on a 40-hour workweek . Final base pay will be determined based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, this role may be eligible for discretionary annual equity awards.
