This position is Per Diem, scheduled per need, and is located on-site at Kent Hospital in Warwick, RI. Occasionally work may be available at Care New England facilities local to Kent Hospital.
Job Summary:
The Occupational Health Nurse provides nursing care/health education and guidance to hospital employees through a comprehensive employee health program.
Provides first aid/initial assessment for employees who become ill or are injured at work, maintains appropriate records and reporting of work-related illnesses/injuries, and ensures compliance with applicable regulations and programs.
Assists Nurse Practitioner with physicals, tests, and hospital-wide immunizations/ inoculations. Assists in designing and implementing health in-service programs, and develops protocols to monitor employee health and pre-vent employee work-related accidents and illness.
