Maine Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Hospitalist Medicine Locum Tenens - Cross-Credentialing Opportunity

Rhino Medical Services is leading the charge seeking exceptional Maine licensed Nurse Practitioners (NPs) available to join our cross-credentiled locum tenens roster rotation for multiple sites in Maine. We're seeking quality providers with recent/ongoing Hospitalist Medicine experience with clean/clear malpractice records to cross-credential for ongoing flexible scheduling - please see below for more specifics about each location!

Opportunity Specifics:

• Contract Type:  Locum Tenens
• Setting: Hospitalist Medicine Nurse Practitioner
• Ideal Schedule: 7 on/ 7 off (Primarily Days Requested)
• Shift Times: (7:00am - 7:00pm) or (7:00pm - 7:00am) 
• Support:  AAA Malpractice Coverage, Credentialing, Travel & Lodging
• Pay: Competitive Weely Pay

Ellsworth, ME Hospitalist Department Profile:

• Hospital Beds: 64-Bed Hospital
• ICU Beds: 5-Bed Open ICU
• Coverage: 3 HM Physicians on Day Shift & 1 Nocturnist
• Codes: HM & EM Respond to Codes
• Census: 28 Average Daily Census
• Intensivists: 24/7 TeleICU Program with 24/7 Intensivist availability
• EMR: Cerner
• Backup: Surgery, Ortho, Radiology, Anesthesia, OB/GYN
• Open Dates:  August 9, 16, 17, 18, 29, 30, 31, September 4-15, 23, 28, 29, 30, October 1-6, 14, 15, November 1-12, 20-26, December 1-10, 18-31

Waterville, ME Hospitalist Department Profile:

• Hospital Beds: 48-Bed Hospital
• ICU Beds: 5-Bed Open ICU
• Coverage: 1 HM Physician on Day Shift & 1 APP Nocturnist
• Codes: HM & EM Respond to Codes
• Census: 25 Average Daily Census w/ 3 Admissions
• Intensivists: 24/7 TeleICU Program with 24/7 Intensivist availability
• EMR: Cerner
• Backup: Surgery, Ortho, Radiology, Anesthesia, OB/GYN
• Open Dates:  July 24-29, August 4-13, 21-31, September 1-3, 18-23, 29, 30, October 1-8, 16-29, November 13-26, December 4-31

Candidate Qualifications:

• License:  Active Maine State License & Unrestricted DEA
• Certifications: AANP or ANCC Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Additional Qualifications: BLS, ACLS Certified
• Experience: 1-2 Years of Recent Hospitalist Medicine Experience
