Salary: 105,000 - $115,000

Nurse Educator  

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Nurse Educator with extensive knowledge of nursing practices to join our team at Greater NY Nursing. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and engage students. 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of nursing, ensuring a deep understanding of the material to be presented to students. 
• Exhibit strong communication skills to articulate complex medical and scientific concepts in an easily understandable manner. Provide constructive written feedback on student assignments to facilitate their learning and development. 
• Possess high-level interpersonal skills to offer constructive feedback and serve as a trusted advisor to students. Build a supportive and encouraging learning environment. 
• Showcase creative problem-solving abilities to address challenges related to student performance and overcome obstacles in delivering established curriculum. 
• Utilize well-developed interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students, fostering a positive and dynamic learning experience. 
• Ability to move large, heavy items such as overhead projectors in classrooms or medical equipment in clinical settings. 
• Demonstrate sufficient stamina to remain stationary for extended periods during teaching sessions. 
• Possess a valid driver’s license or reliable access to transportation if required to travel to other locations to instruct students or nurses. 
• Engage closely with the coordination team to support the facilitation of training and development placement for new graduates. 
• To work Full-Time and possess flexibility to accommodate structured training sessions. 

Qualifications:  

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license. 
• Prior experience in nursing education or clinical instruction is highly desirable.
