This position is responsible for the oversight of specific night audit duties as well as oversees the front office during the overnight shift.
Responsibilities will include:
•Perform all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, on a daily basis.
•Able to handle guest requests and resolve any guest issues.
•Balance all ledgers and work performed during the audit shift.
•Prepare the front office for the am shift and reset day's business.
•Act as a Guest Service representative and manager on duty during the night-time hours.
•Act as PBX operator during the audit shift.
•Attend and actively participate in all front office meetings.
•Participate in all training and cross training programs.
•Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
•Understand and use math concepts in order to design a financial or economic system.
•Understand and use computers and related equipment, such as Opera Cloud.
•Speak and write clearly to report financial information.
•Previous Night Audit experience required
Able to work overnight shift and weekends/holidays
•Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
•Experience working with Property Management Systems and Outlook
