Job Description

A health services network in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nephrologist for a promising opportunity at one of their clinics in Rockland County.

Responsibilities:


The Nephrologist will:

• Assess patients with kidney-related issues
• Gather medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the nature and severity of kidney problems
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Oversee the dialysis process, adjust treatment parameters, and address complications associated with dialysis
• Diagnose and treat electrolyte imbalances and acid-base disorders that can arise from kidney dysfunction
• Educate patients about their kidney conditions, treatment options, and the importance of compliance with medical recommendations
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
• Board Eligible / Certified in Nephrology
• DEA registration
