Job Title: MRI Technologist
Shift Timing: Thursday Night (5:30 PM – 6:00 AM), Friday Night (4:00 PM – 4:30 AM), Saturday (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Location: Belmont, NC
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hr

1. Perform diagnostic imaging using Siemens and GE MRI equipment , ensuring high-quality scans.
2. Adhere to MRI safety protocols , including screening patients for contraindications (e.g., pacemakers, implants).
3. Educate and prepare patients for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and comfort.
4. Adjust scanning parameters to accommodate patient conditions while maintaining image clarity.
5. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to support accurate diagnoses.
6. Ensure MRI machines are properly maintained and promptly report any technical issues.
7. Respond to patient emergencies such as claustrophobia or contrast allergies, following hospital protocols.
8. Be available for on-call shifts twice a month and float as needed between Belmont and Gastonia locations.
9. Maintain accurate patient records, scan protocols, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital regulations.
10. Stay current with ARRT (R)(MR) certification requirements and industry advancements.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Proficiency with Siemens and GE MRI equipment .

• Active ARRT Registration with MRI Credential – R.T.(R)(MR)(ARRT) required.
