Job Description
As a Motion Graphics artist at Jazwares, you do more than bringing graphics to life. You use your strong creative background to create powerful stories that capture an audience and leaves them wanting more. The motion graphics artist role is expected to execute dynamic motion graphics incorporated with video footage. The motion graphics artist is expected to follow all departmental processes and procedures as outlined by the Video Manager.
What you will do: - Assemble sequences, using footage and motion graphics as directed to enhance footage.
- Follow script or outline, as well as offer options to approach a project creatively.
- Inputting sound to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and voice-overs.
- Improve and correct lighting, coloring, and faulty footage.
- Track the progress of assigned tasks using project management software.
- Attend meetings as scheduled to discuss team projects as well as with outside members of the company to discuss revisions.
- Assist video team with video shoot setup and breakdown and unpacking and packing equipment.
- Responsible for following all project templates as outlined by the video manager.
- Responsible for digital asset management and personal storage optimization.
- Work closely with other team members to present a final product that matches requirements and specifications.

What we are looking for: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred or combined equivalent years of experience and education.
- 4-6 years of professional experience at a production studio, advertising agency, or similar.
- Demo reel and or website demonstrating creative abilities and examples of past work
- Strong technical skills and proven ability to use a variety of software (Adobe Suite with an emphasis on After Effects, Premier Pro, and plugs-ins like Element 3D)
- Proficiency of 3D motion graphics with Cinema 4D, ie simulations, texture, lighting a strong plus
- Advanced level skill set in design applications such as (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Eagerness to move fast, take on new challenges, introduce and implement new approaches and ideas, grow, test and learn
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong project management skills
- Team player who can take direction and execute against it with little assistance, comfortable working independently
- Effectively present ideas - both verbally and visually
- Meet with clients, internal and external, to understand needs and share ideas
- Be a great communicator, receive and interpret feedback, and meet tight deadlines

- Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 25 lbs frequently, and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, hear, and see frequently
- Travel Required: Some national travel may be required

Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for annual performance incentives may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, salary range may not apply to other states.
