About the Role:
As a Mortgage Loan Originator, you'll play a vital role in helping clients navigate one of the most significant financial decisions they'll make—buying a home. Your expertise will guide them through the mortgage process, from the initial consultation to closing, while ensuring clear communication, transparency, and outstanding service throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with Clients: Understand their financial goals and needs through thorough consultations.
- Educate and Advise: Help clients choose the best mortgage options based on their unique circumstances.
- Analyze Financials: Collect and assess financial information to determine eligibility and affordability.
- Guide the Process: Assist clients with the mortgage application process, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Collaborate: Work with underwriters, processors, and other team members to expedite loan approvals and closings.
- Communicate: Keep clients informed with regular updates on their loan application status and address any concerns or questions promptly.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Proven track record as a Mortgage Loan Originator.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and procedures.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Adaptability: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Licensure: NMLS licensure is required.
