Position: Mobile Software Development Engineer II (Job Code: 1006)
Duties: Responsible for making our software development in the electric vehicle space successful, with a focus on defining and building our digital customer experience; lead the definition, design, architecture, implementation, and delivery of Slate software, as well as code and test system components, leading code and design reviews; own end-to-end code quality, system tests, functional tests, and integration; relentlessly simplify, demonstrating significant innovation, creativity, and judgment when solving challenging problems, and collaborate with UX and product teams to build and invent new solutions and applications that put customers first; utilize TypeScript, React, React Native, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Agile, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, and Test-Driven Development (TDD) to perform duties; drive awareness about the impact and consequences of technical decisions on the business, balancing technical leadership with strong business judgment to make the right long-term decisions about technology choices; assist in the career development of individuals and the community on advanced technical issues, and help managers guide the career growth of their team members.
Location: Troy, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;
Salary: $150,000 per year;
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science,, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a Front-End Developer, as a Full Stack Developer, as a Mobile Developer, as a Quality Engineer, as a Software Developer, as a Software Engineer, as a Test Engineer, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years’ use of all the following: TypeScript, React, React Native, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Agile, Java, C++, HTML, CSS, and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience.
