Job Description:

We seek a highly skilled and passionate Mobile App QA Engineer to ensure the delivery of top-quality, bug-free mobile applications. The ideal candidate will identify, document, create, and execute exploratory tests to guarantee high-quality customer-facing applications without regression issues. The QA Engineer will work closely with development teams and product managers to ensure our mobile apps' best possible user experience and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Execute test cases, perform defect tracking, and manage bug reports.
  • Conduct thorough UAT/regression testing on mobile applications, APIs, Web services, and external tools.
  • Identify, report, and document QA issues and project risks, communicating them effectively to product managers and development teams.
  • Actively participate in Sprint planning and provide input on test requirements.
  • Engage with users for more comprehensive testing/debugging when required.
  • Perform initial root cause analysis for Mobile App ServiceNow tickets.
  • Collaborate with and lead offshore QA resources to ensure consistent QA across the team.

 

Required Skills

  •  2-5 years of experience in app testing and debugging on Android and iOS devices.
  • Proven experience working with engineering and product teams to develop comprehensive test plans for mobile applications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM applications.
  • Experience using digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics 360 or Firebase Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of mobile technologies and best practices in mobile app development.
  • Excellent bug reporting skills, with the ability to provide thorough and appropriately detailed documentation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with business stakeholders and team members.
  • Availability to test mobile apps manually on-site daily at apartment communities.
