Position Overview
The Merchandiser / Sales Associate role is essential to Varsity Made's growth. You'll be responsible for driving sales, handling prospecting, and executing strategic marketing plans. This role offers not only a competitive salary and commission but also ownership equity in the company. You’ll be working closely with the CEO to ensure that Varsity Made continues to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Execution:
Drive sales through effective merchandising and execution strategies.
Engage in email prospecting and email marketing campaigns to expand our customer base.
Assist in planning and executing strategies to meet sales goals.
Meet sales quotas and ensure net sales growth.
Merchandising:
Ensure that Varsity Made products are displayed effectively to engage i jcustomers.
Collaborate with the CEO on merchandising strategies for new products and promotions.
Maintain product presentation standards.
Customer Engagement:
Build strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide excellent service.
Work collaboratively with the team to fulfill custom design requests and ensure customer satisfaction.
Strategic Involvement:
Assist in developing and executing overall sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
Identify new market opportunities and contribute to growth initiatives.
Collaboration:
Work directly with the CEO and Founder on company direction and decision-making.
Contribute to broader company goals, sharing insights from sales and marketing activities.
Qualifications
Strong interest in fashion, custom apparel, or merchandising.
Proven experience in sales, marketing, or merchandising roles.
Excellent communication skills, particularly in email marketing and prospecting.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Experience with marketing strategy and client engagement.
Driven, organized, and results-oriented with a passion for growing a business.
