The
Mental Health Technician II provides direct patient care to psychiatric patients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Mental Health Technician II Responsibilities: - Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing.
- Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients.
- Assists with physical care under the direction of an RN.
- Promotes coordination of the unit by completing orders, making phone calls and directing calls and information to the charge nurse.
Requirements: - BLS (Basic Life Support)
- High School or Equivalent
- FL Driver's License
- Preferred - Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology
- Preferred - CNA/PCT
