NOW HIRING A MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT IN CAMP HILL!!!

***This position is 100% onsite***

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Preparing information for surgeries - gathering and organizing all necessary patient information, medical histories, and pre-operative instructions.
• Preparing charts for office hours - updating patient charts with the latest information, such as recent test results, notes from previous visits, and any new medications or treatments.
• Scheduling and requesting appointments, x-rays, tests, surgeries, depositions, and prescriptions
• Processing mail and filing - maintaining organized and up-to-date filing systems for patient records, correspondence, and other important documents.
• Other duties as assigned – i.e., covering physician’s calls for co-workers as needed.
• Hours are Monday-Friday 8a-5p with a 30min-1hour lunch depending on the volume that day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A certificate or degree from an accredited medical secretary program is preferred.
• One year of medical or medical office experience and computer experience in a medical office setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, basic anatomy, and physiology.

Please note - this is not a patient facing role. You will be working in a cubicle environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
