Join Our Team as a Medical Monitor

About this role

The Medical Monitor is responsible for ensuring the highest standards for patient safety, trial conduct and data integrity. 

As part of our SRS team you will be dedicated to one sponsor, a global biotech company known for innovative therapeutics for the treatment of cancer. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage, develop and maintain strong working relationships with Clinical Investigators.
• Active participation in clinical data review, analysis and presentation (including writing and/or review of clinical study reports, patient narratives, patient profiles).
• Protocol execution, including interactions with clinical operational teams and study sites (study coordinators and Investigators).
• Provide support for trial initiation and conduct (e.g., IRB responses, CRF and database reviews).
• Interact with and support company regulatory function to ensure timely contribution of patient information for any regulatory requests or medical related questions.
• Partner with pharmacovigilance to ensure timely and accurate safety reporting to regulatory authorities.
• Close interaction with appropriate functions to ensure full understanding and clarity and ability to educate and update sites around the scientific basis for targeted therapies under development.

Qualifications:

• MD
• Formal training in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology and/or extensive oncology clinical development experience is preferred (e.g., patient cancer care experience, residency and fellowship training included)).
• Experience or exposure to clinical development in leukemia and lymphoma is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in Biopharma / Pharma industry as a medical monitor or study director
• Ability to work independently, with direction and within project teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; comfortable with public speaking.
• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize workload.
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to engage and collaborate with a variety of internal and external personnel.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 20 % of the time (international and domestic).
