Job Title: Credentialing Specialist

Location: South Jordan, UT – Hybrid, mostly remote

Position Overview: The Credentialing Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the credentialing process for healthcare providers and organizations. This role is crucial in ensuring that all providers meet the necessary qualifications and comply with regulatory standards. You will work closely with various stakeholders to facilitate accurate and timely credentialing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify and validate provider credentials, including education, training, and licensure.
  • Maintain and update provider databases and credentialing records.
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies to collect and verify required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational standards and regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of credentialing applications to payers and accrediting bodies.
  • Review and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to provider credentials.
  • Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and credentialing requirements.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in credentialing.
  • Strong knowledge of credentialing processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing software (e.g., CAQH).
