Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Tarpon Spring, Florida . This contract-to-hire opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient rooming, ensuring efficient and thorough preparation for physician visits.
  • Manage patient callbacks to communicate test results, provide follow-up instructions, and address inquiries.
  • Implement and monitor Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) measures to ensure quality patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation management, ensuring all patient records are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
  • Administer injections and perform laboratory procedures with precision and care, including blood draws and sample processing.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate, GED or equivalent
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Knowledge of STARS/HEDIS measures

Additional Information:

  • Location: Tarpon Springs, FL
  • Job Type: contract to hire.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
  • Pay Range: $ 17.00 to 23.00/hour.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
