Job Description Meat Market Manager Our client in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an experienced Meat Market Manager for a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established grocery retailer. Maintain full and fresh meat cases, ensuring consistent product rotation and quality control. Lead, train, and motivate team members to deliver superior service and maintain a positive work environment. Engage regularly with customers and staff to identify needs, address concerns, and drive satisfaction. Manage all meat operations, including buying, receiving, storage, cutting, and inventory rotation. Evaluate product quality to meet company standards and exceed customer expectations. Drive sales growth and profitability through strategic merchandising, loss prevention, and cost control. Utilize sales data to optimize production, reduce shrink, and enhance profit margins. Interpret performance reports to make informed purchasing and inventory decisions. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food handling regulations. Collaborate with leadership to implement company promotions and operational initiatives. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; five or more years of meat market or retail management experience preferred. Food Safety Management certification required. Proven leadership and communication skills. Strong knowledge of meat cutting, preparation, and product presentation. Prior experience in a retail grocery or meat market environment.
