About Us:

Exceptional Wellness Counseling (EWC) is a dynamic and growing mental health private group practice committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care. We support individuals and families in achieving emotional wellness through various treatment modalities with an emphasis on overall health and wellness.

We are currently seeking a creative, motivated, and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team for a part-time, unpaid summer internship.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mental health marketing while contributing to meaningful work that impacts lives. The intern will play a key role in supporting our outreach initiatives, increasing brand awareness, and helping us connect with the community through thoughtful and engaging marketing efforts.

What Youll Do:

  • Team up to brainstorm and create marketing strategies that showcase EWCs services and mission.
  • Design and schedule eye-catching posts for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Help craft email campaigns and newsletters that keep our community connected.
  • Assist in creating and distributing catchy flyers, brochures, and other materials.
  • Dive into market research to discover new outreach and partnership opportunities.
  • Support the planning and promotion of community events and collaborations.
  • Track social media trends and engagement to see whats working.
  • Bring your ideas to the table during fun and creative team brainstorming sessions.
  • Work closely with our clinical and admin teams to highlight inspiring stories and services.
  • Get hands-on with real projects and grow your skills with guidance from experienced mentors.

Who You Are:

Youre ready to jump in, learn, and contribute! Heres what were looking for:

  • A current student or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Strong and creative communication skills.
  • A creative thinker who pays attention to details and takes initiative.
  • Eager to learn and collaborate with a friendly, supportive team.
  • Comfortable using (or willing to learn) tools like Canva, Mailchimp, or similar platforms.
  • Social media savvy, with an understanding of brand voice and audience engagement.
  • Passionate about mental health, wellness, and building community connections.
  • Able to commit at least 10 hours per week for a minimum of 2 months (schedule flexible!)
