Key Responsibilities :
- Assemble products or subassemblies according to specifications, blueprints, or work orders.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble components.
- Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Package finished products for shipment or storage.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly issues.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet production goals.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and materials used.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Report any quality or safety concerns to supervisors or managers.
- Meet production deadlines and quotas while ensuring high quality.
Skills and Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional certifications or training).
- Experience in manufacturing or assembly (preferred, but not always required).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials (lifting requirements may vary depending on the position).
Working Conditions :
- Work may be done in a noisy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection may be required.
- May require standing, bending, or lifting for extended periods.
Physical Demands :
- Ability to lift and carry materials, typically up to 25-50 lbs (depending on company specifications).
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
