Job Description

Supply Chain Management Consulting, LLC is a leading consulting firm in the Aerospace & Defense industry, specializing in optimizing manufacturing processes. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Manufacturing Administrator to join our team. As a Manufacturing Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the manufacturing department and assist in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain manufacturing-related documentation, such as work orders, production reports, and quality records
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, training sessions, and other manufacturing-related events
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of production schedules and capacity planning
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of manufacturing supplies and materials
  • Assist in the implementation of manufacturing process improvements and initiatives
  • Collect and compile data for manufacturing performance metrics and reports
  • Conduct data entry and maintain databases related to manufacturing processes
  • Identify and report any issues or concerns related to manufacturing processes to management
  • Provide general administrative support to the manufacturing department as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and terminology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience with inventory management systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) is a plus
