Job Overview

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll perform a wide variety of general, mechanical, and preventative maintenance tasks. You'll help inspect, repair, and maintain equipment and physical facilities throughout our hospital. You’ll also be encouraged to pursue EMT training and certification, which opens doors to additional pay, skills, and contributions in our rural health setting.

Schedule
Full-time position, Monday through Friday
On-call rotation for nights, weekends, and holidays

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform daily maintenance and repairs on equipment, systems, and facilities
  
• Troubleshoot minor electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues
  
• Conduct regular inspections to catch and prevent equipment failures
  
• Assist with furniture assembly, equipment moves, and general upkeep
  
• Support other maintenance projects and staff as needed
  
• Help ensure safety and compliance with local codes and hospital policies
  
• Maintain logs and records of work completed
  
• Opportunity to pursue EMT certification — a highly valuable skill in our rural healthcare setting
  

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Some experience with general maintenance, repairs, or similar work preferred
  
• Comfortable using hand tools and reading basic schematics
  
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
  
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude
  
• Willingness to learn and grow, including potential EMT certification within the first year

• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured
