Job Description Mail Processor – Full-Time Location: Syosset, NY Compensation: Up to $55,000 annually Employment Type: Permanent Join a fast-paced, supportive team where your organizational skills and attention to detail make a real impact. We're looking for a dependable and motivated Mail Processor to help keep our mailroom operations running smoothly and efficiently. What You'll Do: Operate high-speed mail inserting machines to process outgoing mail efficiently and accurately. Monitor equipment to ensure consistent feeding, folding, and insertion of documents. Troubleshoot minor machine issues, clear paper jams, and perform routine maintenance. Coordinate with the mailroom team to prioritize tasks and meet daily production goals. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with mailing specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste and recycling. Handle mail pickups from the post office and daily end-of-day mail drop-offs as needed. Perform daily maintenance on printers, including checking and refilling paper and toner. What We're Looking For: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience operating mail inserting equipment is a plus, but we’re willing to train the right person. Ability to lift and move heavy boxes or mail trays. Excellent attention to detail and strong commitment to accuracy. Good communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work additional hours when needed to meet deadlines.
