Drive Local! A Piqua company is seeking a dedicated and skilled, Lugger Truck Driver, who is able to operate other yard trucks & tractors. Driver must have a Class A, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) for this full-time position with ample overtime opportunities @ $30 per hour and benefits. Schedule: 1st shift, Monday thru Friday with local pick ups and deliveries.

Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of containers.
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher.
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking oil levels, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to navigate the greater Dayton area.
- Yard work.
- Forklift experience a plus.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Home Phone or Cell.
- A Valid Driver’s License.
- Your Own Transportation.
- A Clean Background with NOFelony Conviction.
- Able to Pass an Employment Drug Screen.
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A) with a clean driving record.
- Experience in route driving with knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
- Semi Roll-Off/Dump or Straight Truck Lugger and Roll-off experience.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is preferred but not mandatory.
