NorthStar American School (NAS) is looking for highly experienced and qualified teachers to join our team. Our current opening is for teachers and private tutors for online K-12 classes and ESL classes for different age groups.
You will ...
Work directly with the students, using your skills and experience as a teacher
Evaluate student papers, projects, tests, and other assessments
All you do is teach!
Individualized lesson plans for each student/class are provided
Initial and ongoing training is provided
Tutoring hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST and Saturday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM EST.
Schedules are somewhat flexible around the times you are available.
Candidates need to have an availability of at least two afternoons and/or evenings a week and two Saturdays a month

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20 - $25 per hour, paid twice monthly by direct deposit

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in education with relevant specialization. (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA)Proven teaching experience: 1 year of online experience
Personal computer with a built-in or separate webcam
Reliable internet connection.
Computer literate. (Teams/Office)
USB Headset fitted with a microphone.
A well-lit, distraction-free environment from which to conduct your lessons
Outstanding verbal, non-verbal, and written skills.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
