Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join their team! This position will play a crucial role in managing the import and export operations of seed and non-seed items in the US. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating logistics, and maintaining accurate documentation to support production and sales demands.

Duties:

• Perform import/export activities in compliance with regulations and organizational policies
• Liaise with regional coordinators, warehousing, production planning for expediting import/export processes
• Coordinate logistics for shipments via various modes of transportation
• Ensure timely and compliant completion of work adhering to internal policies and regulations
• Audit team files for audit readiness and participate in audits when required
• Train team members on Standard Operating Procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices
• Act as a key contact for foreign partners/customers
• Conduct process training as needed
• Handle complex global trade accounts/lane operations

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 3+ years of experience in Business, Supply Chain, or International Commerce preferred
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours when necessary
• Strong understanding of import/export regulations
• Ability to become a Subject Matter Expert for business units
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other data systems preferred
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Project management skills with strong analytical abilities
