The role requires one person on-site for 8 hours per day. Remote reading will be done for an additional 4 hours Monday through Friday. On-call coverage will be required all other times. Nighttime coverage of reads will be handled through teleradiology. The call schedule will be 24/7. The facility operates as a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma center. The annual volume of cases exceeds 80,000. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. The practice will have 0-5 radiologists. Typical radiology support staff will be available. Teleradiology will be utilized for night coverage, with backup from an on-call radiologist if reads are not timely. The patient demographic spans from birth to 21 years old. Required procedures include MRI of the brain, spine, musculoskeletal system, and mammography. Credentialing is estimated to take 60-90 days, with the option to request temporary credentials for qualified candidates.
