Job Description

We are looking for Licensed Insurance Agents with Personal or Commercial lines experience, or Assistants to Agent who wants to become licensed, to join an insurance agency known for exceptional client care.

This agency is located in Gaithersburg, MD.They have been providing excellent auto, home, business, and life insurance since 1955. They provide great benefits, support, and learning opportunities to their employees.

You are:

1. A licensed Commercial Lines agent. or
2. A licensed Personal Lines agent who may want to train to add Commercial lines, or
3. An assistant to agent who wants to become licensed

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality insurance advisement to clients with a client first approach, taking ownership of client solutions
• Be responsible for all underwriting, sales, processing of new business, and the re-underwriting and service of existing accounts
• Complete accounting/billing practices with a high attention to detail
• Conduct claims intake and triage
• Professionally communicate with carriers, policyholders, and all third-party interests
• Meet and exceed sales goals via account rounding, coverage upselling, referral requests, etc.
• Demonstrate a thirst for knowledge, continually learning industry coverages and topics
• Maintain a growth mindset, helping Agency continuously achieve growth goals

• Strong verbal/writing communications
• Prior experience on Agency side (preferred)
• Ability to receive and to give constructive feedback
• Bilingual (Spanish preferred)

Earnings potential:

• Commercial Lines Agent: $60K – 75K plus commissions
• Personal Lines Agent: $45K – 60K plus commissions
