The Opportunity

Join a fast-moving renewable energy developer and IPP focused on distributed solar and storage projects across the U.S. As Counsel on the Structured Finance team, you’ll be a key legal lead on financing transactions that underpin the company’s growth, from tax equity and credit transfers to construction and back-leverage debt.

This is a high-impact role at the intersection of law, finance, and energy, ideal for an attorney who thrives in collaborative environments and wants to influence how clean energy projects are funded and executed.

What You’ll Do

• Lead legal execution for project-level financings, including tax equity, credit transfers, and senior debt
• Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents—credit agreements, security packages, equity structures, etc.
• Manage closing workflows and timelines, coordinating internal teams, counsel, and external partners
• Advise on financeability and tax eligibility of project contracts (PPAs, EPCs, etc.)
• Support ongoing compliance and commercial decision-making tied to financing agreements

What You Bring

• JD and admission to practice law in the U.S.
• 4+ years in project finance or structured finance, ideally with renewable energy exposure
• Deep familiarity with tax equity structures, credit agreements, and multi-party closings
• Ability to translate legal complexity into actionable advice for business teams
• Comfortable juggling multiple deals and timelines in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
