We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Billing Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position, providing an excellent opportunity for an individual to contribute to our organization's financial operations. You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of billing operations, from invoice generation to payment collection.
- Respond promptly to billing inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders, delivering high-quality customer service.
- Collaborate with legal teams to ensure accurate and timely billing of services.
- Review and update client billing guidelines, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies or inaccuracies in billing data.
- Prepare and present billing reports to senior management.
- Implement process improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast and track key account metrics.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all billing transactions.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a billing role in a law firm environment - *must have experience with Aderant*
- Proven ability to manage the full cycle of billing operations.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a proven ability to respond promptly and effectively to billing inquiries.
- Strong numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in billing software and other financial management systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Knowledge of legal billing procedures and regulations is a plus.
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not required.
