Job Summary
We are an Intellectual Property Law Frim seeking a Legal Assistant/Paralegal. Intellectual Property Law knowledge is a plus but not required. Responsibilities include: preparation, filing and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patents and trademarks. This position is responsible for performing a variety of paralegal duties. This position does not require the Legal Assistant/Paralegal to bill their time.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:

• 2+ years of office or administrative experience
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in an effective manner
• Ability to prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines
• Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm

PREFERRED:

• Intellectual Property Law Experience
• CPi docketing experience
• Previous paralegal or legal assistant experience
• Netdocs or similar document management system experience
