Salary: $18.00

A local real estate office is seeking a professional, customer-service oriented Leasing Agent to join our team! This company prides itself on an attentive, caring leasing staff who excel in assisting others through the process of finding housing both on and off campus. With over 1500 units under management, the Leasing Agent is responsible for the following tasks within his or her portfolio:

• Receive and respond to apartment inquiries via phone, email, and website submission
• Schedule and perform apartment showings with property-specific knowledge, including timely follow up and lead management
• Prepare and distribute communication and notices to tenants
• Perform apartment inspections before move in and after move out, as well as throughout the lease term as needed
• Manage delinquencies and collect rent
• Develop and maintain a positive relationship with current and prospective tenants
• Learn and ensure compliance with all Fair Housing Laws

Skills and Requirements:

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Professional manner and communication
• Moderately active position - ability to stand/walk throughout shift
• Experience in customer service or previous sales experience preferred
• Computer and software proficiency
• Driver's license and reliable transportation

Pay: hourly starting at $18.00 with the possibility of added incentives.

The Leasing Agent schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and rotating Saturday shift, however availability to work longer hours during peak season (July and August) is required
