Job Description

Janek Performance Group is looking for a detail-oriented Learning Content Editor to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced editor with a strong eye for accuracy, consistency, and branding who enjoys working with training and instructional materials. As a remote position, this opportunity offers the flexibility to work from home while collaborating with a team of professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality sales training content.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, the Learning Content Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and formatting training materials to ensure they meet Janek’s high-quality standards. This role involves working with multiple teams, managing deadlines, and ensuring all deliverables are client-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit and proofread training materials in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and PDF files, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Provide editorial quality assurance for Janek’s digital sales training applications.
  • Format content using Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office , ensuring a polished, professional appearance.
  • Collaborate with Instructional Designers, Learning Strategists, and Marketing to keep projects on track.
  • Assist Marketing with proofreading blog posts and other digital content.
  • Track project progress using SharePoint and ensure all materials receive final approval before completion.
  • Work independently while maintaining clear communication with team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in editing and proofreading, ideally in a digital or training content environment.
  • Strong command of the English language , with exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, WebEx, or Zoom for virtual collaboration.
