Fire Alarm, Access Control, and CCTV Technicians
Location: Kansas City, MO
Salary: $25 - $35 per hour (DOE and certifications)

Job Requirements:
- Field installation experience in security systems such as Fire Alarms, Intrusion, Access Control, or CCTV.
- Valid state-specific Physical Security or Life Safety licenses as required.
- Willingness to travel for extended periods (a few weeks at a time).
- Work schedule primarily during 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional night shifts.
- Ability to work at heights of 20’ to 60’ using lifts.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and site maps.
- Familiarity with multiple Intrusion/Access Control system manufacturers (a plus).
- Proficiency in designing and planning technical solutions during pre-installation phases.
- Strong customer service skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- PPE and reliable transportation during the training period (prior to company vehicle assignment).
- Basic computer/laptop/smartphone proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair low voltage cabling systems, including IP, Access Control, Intrusion Alarms, Data and more.
- Perform installation work in commercial buildings, including concrete drilling and limited conduit bending.
- Ensure all wiring, connections, and terminations are completed with a high level of quality, meeting customer expectations and contractual obligations.
- Install and upgrade fire alarm systems, program control panels, and follow building plans/electrical layouts.
- Conduct system tests to verify functionality and compliance with fire codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager to meet work schedules and ensure timely delivery of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair systems to ensure they meet local, state, and federal codes, as well as legal and insurance requirements.
