Our client is hiring a Quality Lab Technician I to join our Polymer Quality Control team. This role is perfect for a recent college graduate with a Chemistry or science-related degree who’s looking to start their career in a hands-on laboratory environment.

What You’ll Do
• Perform routine testing on nylon resins:
• Moisture %, relative viscosity, monomer, melting point
• Color, speck count, solubility, transmittance
• Amine end group count
• Analyze polyester resins for moisture and measure finish on yarn.
• Operate a Film Extruder to perform Film Quality Tests.
• Compare test results to product specifications to determine if products are conforming.
• Prepare samples, maintain records, and support daily lab documentation.
• Assist with special testing requests for R&D, Sales, and Extrusion.
• Clean and maintain lab glassware and contribute to a 5S laboratory environment.
• Help maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance.

What We’re Looking For
• Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Some experience in an academic or industry chemical lab (internships count!).
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the Quality department.
