Starting pay: $25.00/h - $30.00/h
Great Lakes Skilled Trades is seeking a Bilingual Korean and English Site Interpreter to join our team for a large construction project. This position involves working directly on the construction site, facilitating communication between English-speaking and Korean-speaking work crews.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as an on-site translator between English-speaking and Korean-speaking construction crews.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication to accurately convey project specifications, safety protocols, and work instructions.
- Assist with translating documents, signage, and other written materials as needed.
- Support coordination and collaboration among team members.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in both Korean and English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.
- Experience with construction trades is a plus
