SUMMARY
The Kids Ministries Director Elementary provides strategic leadership, teaching, and oversight for all aspects of Hill Country Bible Churchs Elementary Ministry, creating a welcoming and engaging environment where children Kindergarten through 5 th Grade can grow in their faith. This role equips
volunteers, partners with parents, and develops programs that align with the churchs mission to disciple children from birth through elementary school.

The Kids Ministries Elementary Manager will report to the Next Gen Director.
Status: Full-time, Salaried, Ministerial Exception
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide vision and leadership for the Elementary Kids Ministry, ensuring programs align with the churchs mission and values.
Oversee the planning and execution of age-appropriate curriculum for children from kindergarten 5 th grade, fostering spiritual growth and biblical understanding.
Recruit, train, and mentor a team of volunteers to serve effectively in Kids Ministry roles, cultivating a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all children during ministry activities.
Partner with parents, offering resources and support to help them disciple their children at home.
Organize and lead special events, including camps, summer programs, and family-focused gatherings, to encourage community engagement and spiritual development.
Manage the Elementary ministry budget, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.
Collaborate with church leadership and other ministry teams to ensure alignment of vision and seamless integration of Elementary Ministry into the broader church community.
Regularly evaluate and adapt Elementary Ministry programs to meet the evolving needs of children and families.
Build relationships with children and families, creating a welcoming environment that encourages participation and connection within the church.

Evidence of actively walking with the Lord in their everyday personal and work life.
Is passionate and actively working to support Hill Country Bible Churchs mission and demonstrating their values.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and interact effectively at all levels within the organization.
Ability to cast a compelling vision for childrens ministry, inspiring volunteers and families to actively engage in the spiritual formation of children.
Demonstrates flexibility and innovative thinking to design programs and resources that effectively connect with children of varying ages and developmental stages.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in education, ministry, child development, or a related field, or equivalent experience in childrens ministry leadership.
3-5 years of experience leading or serving in a childrens ministry, with a strong understanding of childrens developmental and spiritual needs.
Proven ability to recruit, train, and disciple volunteers in a church or nonprofit setting, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate biblical truth in a relevant and engaging manner for children.
Physical Requirements: May sit for extended periods of time with limited walking, standing, stooping, or bending. May occasionally lift or move up to 50lbs.
