Position: Licensing Coordinator
Industry: Japanese entertainment company
Location: West Los Angeles Area/Southern California
Pay: $21-26/hour (DOE) plus benefits
Status: Full time/Direct hire/Non-exempt
Work Schedule: Hybrid, work from home is up to 10 days a month *after in-person introductory period
Duty:
• Responsible for deal negotiations for local, global, and import/export deals involving Latin/South America, either directly with licensees or through local agents or affiliate offices
• Organizing territories and categories licensed
• Reviewing quarterly royalty reports
• Liaise between legal department and management or partners for all legal topics
• Overseeing and resolving any issues during approval process; communicate with local partners and licensors in Japan
Qualifications:
• English and Japanese bilingual
• A strong administrative skill; superior organizational and time management skills required
• Minimum of 2.5 years' experience in consumer product, promotional and event licensing preferred
• Experience working with partners in Latin/South America preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting for sales booking and budgeting preferred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to attend international/domestic business trips, up to 20%
