Job Description

About the Company - A Japanese IT Company is seeking an IT Project Manager. This position will be overseeing the implementation of IT solutions, projects, strategies, plans, and budgets for a few dedicated accounts. They will liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as technical design, engineering, enterprise solutions, business solutions, cloud solutions, as well as senior company managers. Backed by a team of technical consultants, he or she will maintain the existing customer base while developing and expanding new opportunities within the account.

Responsibilities

• Maintains customer’s organizational effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies
• Gather requirements and identify solutions to meet customer’s business and IT needs.
• Work with variety of skilled internal and external teams to develop and implement project plans that can meet customer requirements.
• Monitor and maintain quality of work service being delivered from Projects and Managed Services.
• Prepare and conduct technical/service meetings and presentations
• Communicate technical ideas or requirements to sales teams, business stakeholders and technical audience
• Supports opportunity life cycle from initial contact of sale through implementation.

Required Skills

• Bilingual Japanese (native) – English (Business)
• Experience working with Japanese firms (domestic/abroad)
• Excellent Presentation, Oral and Written communication skills
• Excellent document creating skills
• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities
• The position requires a B.S. (preferably) in Information Systems Technology or related field.
• Able to go on business trips (mostly domestic travel. Typical trips are for 2-3 days.)

Pay range and compensation package - 85‐110K, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life insurance, 401K
