Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Project Manager to join a reputable client based in Atlanta. This role will be pivotal in driving forward IT transformation projects, working very closely with the PMO Director.

The Role:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation for significant initiatives, encompassing project charters, requirements, change logs, and more.
• Strategize and oversee projects, monitoring progress for all designated projects using Jira. This includes defining objectives, timelines, resource allocation, assignments, and risk evaluations.
• Encourage timely completion of tasks among project participants.
• Support team efforts by contributing as needed.
• Keep IT leadership, primary stakeholders, and task owners informed of project status.
• Alert IT leadership to potential risks affecting project timelines.
• Coordinate directly with vendor resources for project tasks as necessary.
• Generate regular and ad hoc reports.
• Aid in PMO establishment and ensure adherence to best practice protocols.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to manage technology projects
• Change Management experience
• Strong understanding of Project Management methodologies
• Experience using Atlassian Products
