The Housekeeper at Grouse Mountain Lodge is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for guests in hotel rooms and common areas. This role involves thorough cleaning and sanitizing of various spaces, assisting with special events, and ensuring all safety and maintenance issues are communicated. What will be your daily pursuit?:

Your daily pursuit is providing our guests with a clean, safe, and welcoming environment to rest and recharge after their Whitefish or Glacier adventures.

What will your compensation be?:

$20.00/hour

What will you do in this job?:

• Ensures that cleaning and sanitizing of rooms and common areas in hotels, lodges and cabins, including bathrooms, beds, desks, kitchenettes, floors and surfaces is completed thoroughly and on time
• Ensure staff spaces are clean and sanitized
• Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor
• Assists as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets
• Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed
• Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties

What skills and experience do you need for this job?:

• As a housekeeper, work-ethic and commitment to the team and guest is key
• Housekeeping experience preferred but not required – we are happy to train!
• Have a willingness and ability to work solo and also as part of a team
• Be committed to Safety First and the highest quality of cleaning & sanitizing standards
• Be organized with a great eye for detail
• Be kind to others and always bring your best
• Be a good communicator, always suggesting ideas and solutions
