In this role, you’ll play a major role in creating memorable moments for business travelers and families on vacation. As an essential team member at Drury Hotels, you will work on a team with other friendly customer focused team members completing daily duties such as vacuuming, changing linens and making our bathrooms shine. Maintain a clean and positive environment for guests and team members. Ensure exceptional and positive experiences for diverse team members and guests. Perform various hotel cleaning services to keep guest rooms clean according to established standards. Visually inspect rooms to help identify maintenance needs. Assist guests by providing linens, towels, amenities, or information upon request. Ensure an exceptional guest experience by providing friendly and courteous service with a Service +1 attitude. Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions. Positive and proactive attitude. Dedication to excellent customer service. Requires ability to walk and stand throughout the work shift, push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily work activities. Ability to lift 25-35 pounds intermittently during the workday. Reports to Executive Housekeeper / Assistant General Manager. Maintain and promote a positive and cooperative working relationship with all hotel departments. No previous cleaning experience required. Requires knowledge, skill and mental ability equivalent to completion of 2 years of high school.
